A colorful cache-sex, or pikuran, from the Kirdi people of Cameroon. This small triangular 'tanga' style was probably worn by younger women for protection against the evil eye and also to attract attention. The old Bohemian glass beads were usually strung in chevron or triangular patterns - this one measures 5.25" wide by 5" in height. Mid-20th century. #5902 $425 |
