This iron pod necklace is from the Kirdi tribe of Northern Cameroon/Eastern Nigeria. Related in shape to some pods hanging from cache-sex in the region, this was probably worn around the neck rather than the waist. The pods measure 7” high and the iron beads measure 28" - it is mounted on a custom base. Early to mid-20th century.  #7004  $600
