African Tribal Art - Wood phallus, Fon, Togo/Ghana


Three carved wood phallus from the Fon tribe on the border of Togo and Ghana. These were placed in the ground to stimulate the growth of crops. 19th century. Ex Ryann Willis. They measure 14”, 16” and 15” respectively and are each on a custom metal base.  #3140, 3141, 3142.  $375 each, sold separately.
