A colorful hand-painted brass bowl or dish from Kashmir, styled after
the kashkul or begging bowls used by Sufi mystics. It has stylized
zoomorphic finials and the painting is inspired by 18th and 19th century
Qajar lacquered boxes. It measures 14” long by 8.25” high by 7.5” wide
and is beautifully painted in enamel and gold leaf. Pre-1930. #3058
