A rare kendi holy water earthenware vessel from Lampung Regency, south Sumatra. Only high nobility could use kendi with this particular motif of lizard/cecak. Applied as well as incised designs grace this zoomorphic vessel; it stands 7.75” high. Early 20^th century, possibly late 19^th.  #2655  $700
