This is a knockout wood food bowl from Lumi, located in the heart of the Sandaun (sundown) Province of the northwestern corner of Papua New Guinea. The surface is gorgeously faceted in the carving, it measures 23” wide by 10” high, and it was hard to stop turning it and taking more photos – please see multiple views below.
