This is a man’s woven skirt from the Western Highlands of Papua New Guinea. It was worn folded over a fiber belt and is laced through with yellow orchid fiber. It has a wonderful pattern of triangles and stripes – the photo does not do it justice. It measures 31” long by 14” wide.  #2281  $450
