This is a rare black-lipped kina shell from Collingwood Bay, Papua New
Guinea, with a gorgeous brown/pink/gold iridescence, barely seen in the
photograph. The wrapped cotton stringing is fairly new, and fits a very
small neck of 12.5." The shell measures 4" wide by 4.5" high. See below
